The Oaktone Oakboard Slide is designed for performers and technicians who need dual output MIDI operation for failover / redundancy rigs. The Oakboard Slide features 2 high-quality Bourns linear slide potentiometers and 6 silicone button tactile switches. The Oakboard Slide can be used with any digital audio workstation onstage or in the studio but Oakboards are designed first and foremost with reliable cue launching in mind. Each press of the 6 high-quality switches (manufactured in Japan) provides a reassuring tactile click and is programmed with a 100 ms debounce rate to avoid double-firing.*

The operating force is light enough for a quick launch but won't get accidentally triggered by pyro. If you need a reliable, no nonsense way to launch cues for your set, pick up an Oakboard by Oaktone.

Excellent controller for off-stage playback

The Slide Duo is a well built controller specifically designed for playback operators working off stage. The device does not include a screen for feedback on marker locations so it will be necessary to keep the controller close to your screens. However, buttons with just the right amount of resistance alongside smooth fader action are a pleasure to interact with.

I used it durning my Christmas events and it was perfect it fit on my Nord stage 3 which if you know has almost no extra space to fit anything on the board this is a perfect fit and it was so easy to use

Great unit

I have bought the Oakboard Slide Duo to synchronize two Apple Airbooks with Ableton Live (through one midi connection over a redundant iConnectivity Audio12 interface) and a third Apple Airbook with videos to be synchronized in Resolume Avenue.
The Oakboard Slide Duo makes a fantastic job and it's great to have two physical midi control connections with one unit.
It's a great unit and I'm a happy user!
