Select an image on your hard drive, set the resolution, and Clip Mosaic will scan each pixel and create a bank of Session View clips using relative colors from the Ableton Live clip color palette. Minimize the width of a track while holding the option key to create square pixels.
For best results, add Clip Mosaic to a single midi track and delete all other tracks from the Ableton Live session.

I've tried it on both Mac and PC and it doesn't work really. Hasn't ever been updated since it's conception a few years ago. Shame as it's a cool idea.
